1. ข้อสังเกตก่อนเขียนประโยค : โดยปกติ เราจะต้องใส่คำที่เราเปรียบเทียบเสมอ แต่ในกรณีที่เป็นที่รู้กันว่า เป็นการเปรียบเทียบสิ่งเดียวกัน เราสามารถเขียนโดยไม่ต้องใส่คำว่า than + คำนาม ก็ได้ เช่น Your car is expensive, but mine (my car) is more expensive. รถคุณแพง แต่รถฉันนั้นแพงกว่า เราไม่จำเป็นต้องเขียนเต็มว่า more expensive than your car เพราะเป็นที่รู้กันแล้วว่า มีการเปรียบของอะไรกับอะไร แต่ถ้ากลัวงงก็เขียนเต็มไปก็ได้
