แต่เวลาต้องการจะบอกว่า ยิ้มให้กับตัวเอง เราต้องใช้ว่า to smile to oneself เช่น

บางครั้งเราอาจไปเจอสำนวน to be faced with มีความหมายเหมือนกับคำว่า to face แต่จะใช้กับสถานการณ์ที่ไม่ดี หรือปัญหา เช่น

คำว่า face ยังหมายถึง ไม่กล้าไปเจอหน้า ไม่กล้าไปพบ เพราะรู้สึกผิดที่ทำไม่ดีใส่เช่น
I can’t face her since I treated her badly.
= ฉันไม่กล้าเผชิญหน้าเธอเพราะทำไม่ดีใส่เธอไว้
และสุดท้ายก็คือ หันหน้าไปทาง เช่น
This room faces the sea.
= ห้องนี้หันหน้าเข้าทะเล
I want to a room facing the mountain.
= อยากได้ห้องที่หันหน้าไปทางภูเขา จะใช้ (that faces ก็ได้)
She wants a room facing the swimming pool.
= หล่อนอยากได้ห้องที่หันหน้าไปทางสระว่ายน้ำ ( that faces)

= อยากได้ห้องที่หันหน้าไปสวนสาธารณะ

เพราะฉะนั้น เมื่อเอามาใช้ที่ไหน ให้คิดถึงความหมายนี้ไว้

= การตายของเพื่อนซี๊ทำให้ความหวังของฉันพังทลาย (บดขยี้ความหวัง) เพราะฉะนั้น to crush every fear จึงเห็นภาพว่า บดขยี้ความกลัวทั้งหมด นั่นเอง
To hide every pain = ซ่อน หรือปกปิด
คำว่า to hide ตรงกับภาษาไทยคือ แอบไว้ หรือซ่อนไว้ ใช้ได้หมด เช่น

= หล่อนพยายามซ่อนตัวนักปล้นจากตำรวจ

= ฉันรู้สึกขอบคุณที่ช่วย

= รู้สึกขอบคุณ(ซาบซึ้ง) สำหรับทุกสิ่งที่คุณทำให้จริงๆ

= หล่อนรู้สึกขอบคุณสำหรับความช่วยเหลือทั้งหมดจริงๆ
แต่ถ้าเราต้องการจะบรรยายว่า รู้สึกซาบซึ้งมาก เราก็สามารถใช้คำว่า extremely / deeply เข้าไปขยายได้ หมายถึง ขอบคุณหรือซาบซึ้งสุดๆ
I am extremely grateful for your understanding. = รู้สึกขอบคุณสุดๆที่เข้าใจฉัน
แต่ถ้าต้องการบอกบอกว่า รู้สึกขอบคุณหรือซาบซึ้งกับใคร ให้ใช้ “to” เช่น

Temporary

Everything in life is temporary. So if things are going good, enjoy it because it won't last forever. And if thing are going bad, don't worry. It cannot last forever either.
