to flow ไหล เรามาดูกันหน่อยซิว่า อะไรที่มันไหลได้บ้าง ก็เห็นจะไม่หนีพวกน้ำ a river แม่น้ำ, stream ลำธาร, water น้ำ , lava ลาวา blood เลือด ถ้าต้องการจะบอกว่า ไหลไปหนใด ก็ใช้ to หรือ into นอกจากนี้ เรายังจะพบว่า มีการนำเอา กริยา มาใช้กับ การจราจร หรือ การสนทนา ที่จะมีความหมายในทำนองว่า ไหล ก็ได้ เช่น

= ความคิดลื่นไหลตอนที่ทำงานกลางคืน

=หลังจากดื่มเบียร์กันนิดหน่อย บทสนทนาก็เริ่มลื่นไหล

บางคนอาจสงสัยว่า คำสรรพนามที่อยู่ในข้อความนี้มันแทนอะไรกันบ้าง มาดูกัน

สำนวน to give it its power หมายถึง ให้อำนาจกับมัน
มันนี้ก็คือ อำนาจของการอ่อนน้อมถ่อมตัวให้กับทะเล

คำว่า to govern หมายถึง ปกครอง จะเป็นตำบล ประเทส อาณานิคม เป็นส่วนใหญ่
ฃอให้นึกถึง government = รัฐบาล (คณะบุคคลที่ปกครองประเทศ)
ส่วน to place oneself หมายถึง วางตัวเองให้ จะอยู่เหนือ ก็ above ใต้ก็ below

= ถ้าหากต้องการจะนำใคร ก็ต้องเรียนรู้ที่จะตาม คำว่า to follow หามยถึงตาม เช่น
Follow me. = ตามฉันมา

= ฉันจะตามเธอไป อย่าไปเร็วนัก
