สำนวน to mess up on + สิ่งใดก็ตาม หมายถึง ทำผิดพลาด หรือทำได้ห่วย เช่น

= ฉันคิดว่าตอบคำถามข้อสุดท้ายได้ไม่ดี (ทำพลาด)
