Winners Take Responsibility
Winners hold themselves accountable for what happens in their lives and don’t blame external factors.
They feel they are in control of their destiny and don’t let others decide that for them.
ผู้ชนะรับผิดชอบกับสิ่งที่ทำ
ผู้ชนะรับผิดชอบสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นในชีวิตและไม่โทษปัจจัยภายนอก
ผู้ชนะจะรู้สึกว่าเขากำหนดชะตาชีวิตเองและไม่ยอมให้ใครมาตัดสินใจอะไรให้
สำนวน to take responsibility = รับผิดชอบ
ใช้เป็นคำนาม + for + สิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่ง เช่น
Don’t worry! I will take responsibility for the damage.
= ไม่ต้องห่วง ฉันจะรับผิดชอบกับความเสียหายเอง
สำนวน to be responsible for + สิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่ง หมายถึง รับผิดชอบสิ่งนั้น ตามด้วย for = to be accountable for เช่น
Each of them has to be accountable for his mistake.
= แต่ละคนต้องรับผิดชอบกับข้อผิดพลาดเอง
สำนวน to hold + ใครคนใดคนหนึ่ง + accountable for + สิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่ง หมายถึง ให้คนๆนั้นรับผิดชอบ เช่น
If anything goes wrong, I will hold him accountable for whatever happens.
= ถ้ามีอะไรผิดพลาด ผมจะให้เขารับผิดชอบกับสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้น
in control of ควบคุมสิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่งได้ เช่น
I will be in control of the office.
= ฉันจะควบคุมสำนักงานนี้
สำนวนตรงข้าม to be out of control เช่น
My kid was out of control and screamed.
= ลูกควบคุมตัวเองไม่ได้และกรีดร้อง
The car was out of control and crashed.
= รถควบคุมไม่ได้ก็เลยชนกัน
The situation got out of control, and a fight started.
= สถานการณ์ควบคุมไม่ได้ จึงเกิดการต่อสู้กัน
