To fly under the radar
ทำตัวไม่ให้ใครสังเกตเห็นเหมือนหลบอยู่ใต้เรดาร์
Last semester my friend skipped class very often. He really enjoyed flying under the radar. I am afraid that if he does it this semester, he may get flunk.
= ภาคเรียนที่แล้ว เพื่อนฉันโดดเรียนบ่อยมาก ไม่มีใครสังเกตเห็นเลย (เรดาร์จับไม่ได้) ฉันเกรงว่า ถ้าเทอมนี้ทำอีก อาจสอบตกก็ได้
A: James didn’t attend the meeting again. I don’t know where he is.
= เจมส์ไม่ได้เข้าประชุมอีกแล้ว ไม่รู้ว่าเขาไปอยู่ที่ไหน
B: He is lucky. He flew under the radar this time, but next time he may be not that lucky.
เขาโชคดี เขาหลบได้คราวนี้ (เรดาร์จับไมได้) แต่คราวหน้าอาจไม่โชคดีแบบนั้น
